Q: Which credit cards do you accept?
A: Alphaville Direct's secure server uses Yahoo! payment technology, which accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

Q: Aside from credit cards, what alternative methods of payment do you accept?
A: For orders in the continental United States, Alphaville Direct does accept checks, money orders and wire transfers. These payments must be made in full at the time of purchasing. Orders will be processed once the proper funds have cleared. Please note that for all international orders, Alphaville Direct only accepts wire / bank transfers.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: Sales tax is ONLY charged for instate deliveries to New Jersey, which is calculated during the check-out process. International orders are subject to taxes / duties in the country in which items are delivered.

Q: When will I be charged for my order?
For non-special order items, your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. For security purposes, at the time of purchase, your credit card will be run through an approval process for the full amount of the purchase. This is only an authorization for us to charge you, not an actual charge.

EFFECTIVE 8/30: For items marked "Special Order, which are not cancelable or returnable" your credit card will be charged 50% at the time of purchase. The remaining 50% will be charged when your item(s) are ready to ship.

Other transactions, including custom orders made by check, money order or bank / wire transfer, and all overseas orders must commence at the time of purchasing.

Q: How will my personal information be used?
A: Alphaville Direct is here to provide you with furniture. Your personal information will only be used to process and ship your order. We will never sell your information to any third parties. Any personal information submitted in optional surveys, newsletters or promotions will only be used for such by Alphaville Direct personnel.


Q: What does shipping cost?
A: Alphaville Direct offers free curbside delivery on all items shipping within the continental United States, with the some exceptions. These exceptions will be noted as such with an "Oversize Surcharge" on their product pages. Inside delivery is an available option during checkout, and will incur additional fees.

Any additional services such as "liftgate", "inside delivery", "re-delivery / reconsignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees", which are charged by the shipping company(s), will be the customer's responsibility; Alphaville Direct cannot take responsibility for any charges that incur as a result of additionally requested freight services.

Please note: International orders are subject to additional shipping charges based on the size and weight of the item and the delivery location. For overseas shipping, please contact us via email for an international rate quote.

Q: Will the carrier bring my item(s) into my home?
Alphaville Direct offers "Inside Delivery" as a shipping option on all items. This option is available during checkout at an additional cost. This service includes delivery inside your house, apartment or place of business (including two flights of stairs), removal of packaging and up to 15 minutes of setup. Additional labor may be subject to additional charges.

Q: When will I receive my purchase?
If the item(s) you wish to purchase are in stock, you should receive them within one-two weeks, unless an expedited shipping method has been established. However, Alphaville Direct offers a wide array of items, many of which are subject to longer lead times and limited stock. We do our absolute best ensure that the delivery times listed on each and every product page are accurate and up-to-date. If you'd like to place an order but would like to verify stock and / or lead times, please contact us.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit to your shipping location. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If your item(s) shipped via common carrier i.e. FedEx or UPS, simply refuse delivery and contact us immediately for a replacement. For LTL deliveries i.e. Yellow Freight, Con-Way, Road-Runner, etc., print "Damaged Upon Arrival" where you sign for the items and refuse delivery. After delivery is refused, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you send us photographs via email within 48 hours, so that we can address and correct the situation. We will send out a new product or replacement part at our discretion. If your item arrives damaged and you do not wish to receive a replacement part or new item our standard return policies apply.

Q: What if I'm unavailable to receive my order?
Depending on the carrier, additional delivery attempts will be made. Redelivery fees may apply. If your order has shipped and you are unable to receive your shipment over an extended period of time, additional storage fees may incur. Alternatively, your shipment may be rerouted back to the manufacturer, thus incurring fees for re-shipment of your order.

Q: Do you ship overseas?
A: Yes. Almost all of our products can be shipped anywhere in the world. We can ship via ocean freight and air freight, both of which have their advantages. If you live overseas and would like to place an order, please email us for a shipping rate quote with the following information:

  1) The item(s) and quantity you require
2) The full address of where the item(s) will be shipped (include street address, city, postal code and country)
3) Please verify whether the address is a residential or commercial address

A: At Alphaville Direct, we do our best to offer quality products at the lowest possible prices. If you see an item you're interested in at a competitor's website at a lower price, please contact us and request a price match. 99% of the time, we'll be able to beat that price, save you money and still offer the best customer service in the business. Our price match policy can not be combined with any other discounts.

Q: What is your return policy?
Items must be completely unassembled and unused
, in their original condition and packaging, complete with all materials. You will be responsible for a restocking fee ranging from 10%-25% and return shipping on the item(s). For specific information regarding restocking fees on particular items, please contact us. Please contact us through our customer service form to request a Return Authorization number. Once we receive your return request we will contact you within 24 hours with information regarding your return. All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. All returns must be sent insured for the purchase price. If an item is returned with shipping damage, it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim for the damaged merchandise. Bedding, textiles and any item marked as "Special Order" are not returnable.
We do not accept returns on orders outside the continental United States.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Because most of our items ship or go into production within a few days, we can only accept cancellations within 24 hours from when your order was placed. If an item has already shipped within this 24 hour period, you will be responsible for paying shipping back to the manufacturer and a restocking fee. All cancellation requests must be emailed to orders@alphavilledirect.com.

A: Each product is covered by the warranty offered by its manufacturer.
